Simple materials and Plaka Lack: The Pelikan Acoustic Memory Game

The memorising of sounds is a real challenge for children: which shakers make the same sound because they have been filled with the same material? Not only the game with the sound shakers, but also the making of them brings creativity into your lesson. Furthermore, the acoustic memory game has another interesting side effect for the class community: it can only be played in silence!

This is what you do:

• The yoghurt pots must be clean and dry.
• Paint the outside of the pots with the Plaka Lack. The bottom can be left white. The paint is easy to apply with a hair brush, even the difficult bits. For a smooth surface and a good coverage the pots must be painted several times.
• Leave the pots to dry well.
