Tool mechanic

Tool mechanics perform their duties in workshops, the production halls, work stations and various machines.

Duration:	3 1/2 years ( can be shortened to 3 years)
Dual apprenticeship:	Apprenticeship both within the company as in a job specific training academy.

Tasks are as follows:

Manufacturing, maintaining and repairing injection moulds, devices and testing equipment

A successful candidate should:

Work safety and environmental protection
Introduction regarding job specific basic knowledge
Proper usage of workshop facilities, tools, different materials as courses in simple handcraft and technical work in a apprenticeship workshop.

Continuation

Planing and conducting of complex manual tasks on machines in the workshops as in external courses.

Introduction seminars for new apprenticess
Project work (e.g. editing our apprentice homepage)
Seminars
Courses (e.g. on subjects such as tariff and work law, structure and organisation of the company you work in and environmental protection)
