Plaka

What is the largest size available?

Nearly all colours are available in 500 ml tins.

For which materials is Plaka suited?

For nearly all surfaces (i.e. cardboard, card, paper, ceramic, wood, metal, glass and stone).

Is Plaka water and weather resistant?

Normally, after a long enough period of drying (12 - 24 hours) Plaka is water resistant. By adding Plaka spray its weather resistance can be improved.

Is there also a matt varnish available?

Yes, apart from the two clear varnishes (solvent and water basis) there is also a matt varnish available.

How about the weather resistance of the varnishes?

The clear varnishes as well as the matt varnish are frost and mostly weather resistant. If exposed to permanent rain, a temporary softening of varnish and colour can be the case. The initial hardness is restored after drying. If shortly exposed to rain, the surface is not affected.

Is Patina still available for rustical painting?

Yes, the Patina primer, 250 ml, 2x Patina-Colour, each of 7,5 ml.

Which material is Plaka suited for?

For nearly all materials, especially for non-absorbing surfaces (i.e. plastic, glass, metal). For a better adhesion and a quick drying on smooth photo paper is it better to mixe Plaka with up to 25% Plaka paint primer (Art No 061598).
