Limited and Special Editions have two things in common. They are only produced once, and every series follows a specific theme. However, there are also differences. In a Limited Edition, every writing instrument is numbered individually and precious materials are used in even more splendor than in a Special Edition.
Our Limited Editions have two themes. The series Seven Wonders of the World started in 2004. After the Pyramids of Giza, the Colossos of Rhodes, the Temple of Artemis, and the Lighthouse of Alexandria, the Hanging Gardens launched in 2009. Two more will follow . . .
In comparison the Limited Edition series Important Effects on Civilization is relatively young. It started in 2007 with the Evolution of Script and was followed by the Calculation of Times. Collectors all over the world wait avidly to complete their series.
The current theme of our Special Editions is called Beauties of Nature. Pelikan already celebrated the beauty of Niagara Falls, the Sahara Desert, the phenomenon of Polar Lights, and Mount Everest. Our newest edition shows the magnificent colors of an Indian Summer. The next is still a secret.
