griffix at the 2010 world exhibition
The much awarded griffix® learn-to-write system is part of the EXPO 2010 world exhibition in the German Pavilion
in Shanghai
Pelikan’s griffix® four-stage learn-to-write system will be exhibited in the German Pavilion at this year’s EXPO in Shanghai. After numerous international awards for the world’s first learn-to-write system, including the Good Design Award from Japan and the USA as well as the coveted red dot award, the long-established Pelikan company now represents a piece of Germany at the world exhibition with this innovation.
griffix® provides an ergonomic grip zone with optimal support for thumb, index and middle finger, thus enabling an excellent starting situation for the process of learning to write. The complex motor skills involved in learning to write are shaped in four stages with a wax pen, a pencil, an ink pen and a fountain pen. The different writing instruments aid the child’s development, encouraging fluid movements and precise and beautiful writing without tiring.
The EXPO 2010 world exhibition in Shanghai will take place from 1st May to 31st October 2010 under the motto “Better City, Better Life”. The German Pavilion in the European zone is called "balancity", a made-up word from "Balance" and "City".
The griffix® pens are available in shops both individually and as a four-stage set. The learn-to-write system is available in two variants, for both right and left handers.
