Learn how to get to school

On the journey to school, safety must be the utmost priority. Even if your child is aware of various traffic laws,  the journey to school bears many dangers. Before you let your child walk to school alone, you should walk the way with him or her a good few times. While doing so, make your child aware of many distinctive features along the path to the school. If caught in bad weather or in darkness, these features will help the orientation of your son or daughter and make them feel more comfortable. For further safety, make sure that your child bears many reflecting elements on both clothing and school bag. Make sure to be aware of risky areas along your child's path to school. Explain to him or her why it is in this case worth taking the longer way instead of the shortcut.
It is not really necessary for a child to have a mobile phone although they can prove very useful. If there are any problems, the child can contact the parents, or in other cases the worrying parents can contact their children.
