Pelikan draws the spotlight nationwide with its impressive shop-in-shop system
The long-established Pelikan company has created an impressive shop-in-shop
system, designed to skilfully emphasise the quality of its premium writing implements
and present its products in an appropriate setting for the customer. Notable specialist
shops have already integrated the system into their retail areas, presenting these
premium writing implements in a jeweller's shop type setting.
This unique shop-fitting system made from elegant walnut wood was ceremoniously
unveiled in summer 2008 together with over 70 partners from trade, press and
business, during Pelikan's high-level conference in the Historic Museum in Hanover.
Numerous Pelikan shop-in-shop systems have already been inaugurated in the last
12 months, with further openings planned this year. The development of promotional
product presentations and shop concepts is a tradition with Pelikan, and the new Pelikan
shop-in-shop system sets new standards in the presentation of premium writing
implements: fine materials such as dark walnut wood and crystal glass, as well
as the champagne-coloured surfaces, provide an impressive setting for the presentation
of the exquisite writing implements. The acrylic strips worked into the walnut
wood ensure a high recognition value among connoisseurs and enthusiasts of Pelikan
products: the strips are a feature of the renowned Pelikan Souverän series. Small
crystal glass cubes with dramatic lighting are used to effectively present all
Pelikan premium writing implements: from the classic Souverän or Toledo through
to the modern Ductus or the magnificent Majesty. And the range of premium writing
implements is to be further expanded by numerous collector's pieces this year,
which will also find a perfect setting within this system. The first shop openings,
to name a few examples, included Dössel & Rademacher's retail outlet in Hamburg, followed
by the grand shop-in-shop opening in the long-established stationery company
"Schacht und Westerich" in Hanover – the city where Pelikan also has its main office.
In autumn of last year, the branch celebrated its grand opening in the popular ECE
Centre in Hanover.
The centre of attraction of the new store remains the Pelikan shop-in-shop
system, which provides a perfect setting for these premium writing implements.
Since August of this year, the Pelikan shop-in-shop system has also proved a special
draw for customers in "Haase Schreiben und Schenken" in Wolfsburg and in the
long-established "JF. Carthaus" in Bonn. In the Bonn Carthaus branch, a redesign of
all departments has provided an ideal opportunity to integrate an impressive presentation
of Pelikan writing implements. The entire stationery department has since taken
on a whole new look, with the Pelikan premium shop-in-shop system providing a
special highlight. At the beginning of October, "Ortloff", the modern company with
a long tradition in office requirements and equipment in Cologne, has also become
enthused by this superb product presentation and opened an additional display area
for premium writing implements and accessories in the form of the new Pelikan shop-in-shop
system. Since the beginning of October of this year the Prelleshop in the city
of peace, Osnabrück, has also had cause to get excited about Pelikan's magnificent
presentation system. Fine writing enthusiasts will find all that their hearts desire
in a dedicated area of approx. 10 m².
