Exclusive background information for fountain pen collectors

Pelikan invited 40 members of the "Collegium Ars Scribendi" to an exciting glimpse behind the scenes of the long-established company

Hanover, October 2009 - Pelikan allowed 40 members of the Collegium Ars Scribendi (CAS), the club for friends of beautiful writing implements and stylish writing culture, to take an exclusive look behind the scenes of its production shop. On 2nd October 2009, the long-established company invited 40 members of CAS to visit the production shop in Vöhrum. The visit continued in the afternoon at the Pelikan archive in Werftstraße in Hanover.

CAS is an association of enthusiasts and collectors of both traditional and new writing implements and the associated accessories, and has numerous members throughout the world. What brings the collectors together is a fascination with writing implements of every type, curiosity and the desire to quench their thirst for knowledge about all the collectors' treasures, the different manufacturing techniques, the historical background knowledge and product ranges of individual brands. Pelikan, with its 170 years of company history, is the ideal partner! The company is one of the oldest registered brands in the world. Naturally both the production shop itself and also the historical writing implements which are archived in Hanover met with great interest among the collectors of CAS.

A special highlight were the rarities from the year……
