Writing

A pen is best held loosely. In doing so, the thumb gently pushes against the outward joint of your middle finger. The tip of the index finger should never be more than 10-15 mm away from the tip of the pen. The shaft of the pen should rest on the bottom joint of the index finger - not in between index finger and thumb! A beginner should always write without having the cap mounted on the bottom of the pen.

During writing it is always best to have the light coming from a corner in the direction that the pen is pointed. The paper should lie roughly a hands width away from the edge of the table - if you are left-handed tilted slightly clockwise, if you right-handed slightly anticlockwise.
