Filling your plunger fountain pen

1. Before filling, move the piston downwards by turning the neck of the pen anticlockwise.
2. Dip the pen into the ink as far as the neck and fill slowly and steadily.
3. Having retracted the piston fully, replace five drops back into the ink bottle.
4. Hold the pen with the nib pointing upwards and once again retract the piston fully.
