Easter handicrafting: chocolateflower, napkin holders, butterfly

An idea by Ilona Schneider from Hannover
Easter is near and many people can’t wait to create effective but uncomplicated Easter decorations in only few steps. Pelikan wants to support your creativity and would like to introduce 4 different ideas to you.

Die Downloadvorlagen Schneeglöckchen, Hase, Kaninchen und Schmetterling stehen für Sie bereit.

You will need:

Pelikan colored cardboard in green, brown, yellow and white; colored pencils; a clothes pin; transparent paper; a Wonderliner; glue; a pair of scissors and our download templates. Additionally, you will need 2 napkins for the rabbits and bunnies and a chocolate egg.

Instructions:

Print out the templates and copy them on the desired piece of cardboard. (Snowdrop: green; rabbit and bunny: brown, blue; butterfly: yellow + transparent paper) Cut out all the templates.

Snowdrops

Fold both of the side parts upwards so the oval part in the middle is the standing base. Glue the blossom in-between the “drops” (see red arrow).

Finally place a chocolate egg on the standing base and set the snowdrop up.

This is how to glue on the blossom and set up the snowdrop.

Bunny

Glue a bunny template on both sides of the clothes pin and pinch a napkin in it later on.

Decorate the bunny with the color pencils by drawing eyes, whiskers and a mouth. Glue both bunny parts (one side in mirror image) on each side of the clothes pin.

Finally pinch a napkin between the clothes pin and set the bunny on the table.

Rabbit

Glue all templates, except the feet, opposite to each other. Cut the apron on the back side along the dotted lines before gluing it on. Be careful not to glue the created loop for the napkin together! On the front side, glue the apron on as well and on it the paws. Now the apron can be colored with Wonderliners. Draw the face with colored pencils, e.g. eyes, nose, mouth, whiskers, etc.

Finally, push a napkin through the loop on the back and turn the rabbit around. By folding the legs apart, the rabbit can even stand with the napkin in it! This rabbit will be the highlight on any Easter table!

Butterfly

Simply glue the colored transparent paper on the bottom part and fold the wings upwards.

Color the cut out transparent paper with the Wonderliners. Then glue it in the middle of the marked “gluing spot”. Fold the wings upwards.

If you hang the butterfly up in a windy area, it will flap its wings.
