Paper Frogs that can leap

These paper-folded Frogs are a good opportunity to train children's hand precision. These amusing creations can be made anywhere requiring little time.

This is how it works: If the rear side of the Frog is pushed downward and released, it leaps forward. To top up the creation it can be painted using Pelikan' s Opaque watercolours. If a pond is placed in the center of the classroom (using Blue paper), competitions can be held to see which Frog leaps the furthest and reaches the pond first.

The crafting instructions can be found on the following pages.

In the following steps we will show you how to fold a piece of paper to create the small Frogs. The finished Frogs can leap when the special folded area at the back is gently pushed downward.
