It is amazing to see that passion for Pelikan fountain pens creates a bond between Pelikan fans all over the world.
That´s why we´d like to offer this meeting platform again, to meet new friends that share the same passion for fountain pens. The Pelikan fans are spread all over the world and live in many different countries. When the first pen enthusiasts met in 2014 for the first time, it was a real initial event. But it was so well received by all participants , that we were sure to do it again!
For all of you, who haven´t participated in the event before: the meaning of the word HUB is the center core, a place from which all Pelikan fans from all over the world can connect and form one big community. On 16th September 2016, at 6:30 p.m. we invite all our fans to meet for Pelikan Hubs in different cities and countries all over the world.
There will be one Hub master for every Hub meeting who will be the contact person. If you want to be a Hub master, please apply until 30th June 2016. This will also be the date to decide in which cities the Hubs will take place. The realization of a Hub meeting is related to the number of registered Hub participants.
The registration for the Hub participants ends on 30th July 2016, but we kindly recommend to register as early as possible to make sure that your favorite city has enough registered participants.

Why do you call it a “Pelikan Hub”?
Answer number 2 is exactly why we’ve called this meeting a „Pelikan Hub“!
For the fun of it, and because there’s nothing better than a hobby shared.
Friday, 16th September 2016 at 06.30PM local time
Everybody signs up on the Internet to come to the Hub-event. While signing up, you also do two more things:
a) You say where the Hub meeting should take place
b) You write why you want to become the “Hub master” for this event (if you do wish to become one, that is!). The “Hub master” will book a table at a restaurant or pub or other meeting place in the city center and will distribute a small gift and a brochure from Pelikan during the meeting. He/She will also get the e-mail addresses of all who signed up for their Hub, so they can arrange additional details individually for their city.
Depending on the number of people who sign up, Pelikan chooses the Hubs (i.e. the cities where the meeting will take place) and nominates the Hub Masters. We need at least 7 people per Hub. In July, you’ll get an information about the cities which were chosen as Pelikan Hubs.
Pelikan will send the necessary material to the Hub Masters well in advance of the meeting. One thing is set already: One of the Hubs will be in Hannover, Germany!
During the meeting, we ask our fans to post pictures on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter etc – with this hashtag: #pelikanhubs – so we’re connected with each other all over the world!
