The Easter Hen Egg Cup

- Foldable -

Our beautifully designed egg cups are the perfect fit to Easter celebrations. They are easy to make and can be painted with watercolors. The special highlight: The Easter hen egg cups can be folded and unfolded again - this way, the Easter hens can easily be stored for future Easter holidays to come!

Not only does the Easter hen egg cup look good, but it can also be folded together and therefore be stored easily.

This is what you need:
Our download templates, the paintbox K12, a paintbrush (size 10), scissors, a cardboard roll (e. g. from a paper towel). Additional material for colorful Easter eggs - in a new idea: Transparent paper, napkin varnish technique and a paintbrush (size 10/12).

It's as easy as this:

  1. First, cut out the download templates. For one Easter hen egg cup, you will need two chicken halves (of which one will be in mirror image) and two chicken wings (of which one should be in mirror image, as well).
  2. Now glue the two halves of the Easter hen on top of each other. Caution: Apply the glue only onto the two outer halves, the marked section does not require any glue.
  3. Now glue the two Easter hen halves together and paint them colorfully with watercolors.

Easter eggs can also be glued with transparend paper. It is something already small children can do.
  1. Cut an approx. 4 cm long piece off of the cardboard roll. Finally, unfold the Easter hen egg cup and put it over the cardboard roll. If you do not need this decoration anymore, simply pull the cardboard roll out of the hen and the Easter hen can be folded together again and stored space-savingly until the next year.
  2. With the Easter hen egg cup set up, you have found yourself a perfect way to show your most colorful Easter eggs. But white eggs can look good, too, as they help the bright colors of the Easter hen come out even more.
  3. A further possibility to color up Easter eggs is by decorating them with pieces of transparent paper. For this, tear the paper into small pieces. Now, glue them onto the egg using napkin varnish. A very special effect can be gained by letting the pieces overlap each other. This way, the colors will shine through one another. Finally, let it all dry thoroughly!
