Witch masks

This month on Teachers info we would like alongside our Paintbrush witches to present a witch mask that is simple and quick to make: Print, Cut out, Paint, Finished!

This brilliantly creepy mask pattern can then be coloured in using the PLAKA colours of your choice. A hooked nose is made for the centre of the mask so that everyone can have their own witch face!

It's so easy:

  • Download the mask and print it out using your printer. Please use a strong paper to insure that the holes in the mask do not rip later on.
  • Give some thought on how you want to design your mask. To find the right paintbrush to e.g. paint fine lines please make use of our paintbrush finder.
  • Now you can paint the mask using Pelikan colours.
  • In the next step the nose is added. To do so both parts of the nose are to be stuck together. The Grey area of the nose piece is pushed through the slit on the mask. Both of the Grey areas are pushed against each other and stuck with adhesive on the inside of the mask.

First the nose piece is pushed through the slit on the mask and then the marked areas are stuck using adhesive on the inside of the mask.
  • After the mask has been painted and stuck together the string can be attached to the marked areas of the mask. When viewed from a side angle, the mask shows the typical characteristics of a true witch.

We hope you have fun with your witch mask.
