Pelikan's flying animals are easy to make: cut out, paint and stick together - finished! Once you have taught the animal to fly, hang it in a special place. This is an ideal pastime for young children as the instructions for sticking the creature together are very simple.
With this issue we are presenting a turtle and a fish.

Instructions
1.Cut out 

Carefully cut out both turtles from the downloaded sheets.

 

2.Glue 

Fix a pull thread of approx. 10 cm length to the indicated spot and glue the 2 body parts together (not the wings).

 

3.Paint 

Sharply fold the wings along the dashed lines and paint the armoured reptile as desired.

 

4.Suspend 

Fold the thread in half. Using a needle, thread the ends through the marked spots in the topside of the wings and fix. Tie a knot approx. 7 cm above the wings. To finish, thread the bead on to the pull thread and tie a knot.

 

5.Take off 

This is how the turtle flies:

Hold as shown on the drawing, pull on the bead and the turtle starts to move with a gentle flap of its wings.
