Gluing corner: Eye-Catcher

Our object presentations provides the students the opportunity to present their results in a fast and money-saving way. Moreover, unique artworks are created with plain materials that invite to take a closer look at them. In order to combine the many different materials with each other, we recommend the use of all-purpose glue. The strength of the liquid all-purpose glue even solves the most difficult gluing case. Furthermore, you will need other important utensils, such as see-through packagings (blister packs) made of plastic. These items let the value of the student objects stand out and protect them from being touched.

For the crafting idea "Eye-Catcher": At home and anywhere!", you will need:
Round piece of cardboard underlayment, Plaka varnish in silver, paintbrush, some twigs, transparent plastic packaging, crepe paper, all-purpose glue.

First paint the cardboard underlay with Plaka varnish in silver and let it dry. Now glue a circle made of crepe paper in the size of the blister packaging into the middle.

Place the presented object in the center of the red circle.

Now apply glue to the edge of the blister pack. Glue the plastic packaging onto the underlayment and slightly press it tight.

Decoration

In order to cover the gluing area of the blister pack, glue little balls of crepe paper around the edge. For this purpose, tear off a small stripe of paper and roll it together between two fingers to shape a ball. Glue the balls on with all-purpose glue.

After it has dried, the presented object can be placed on a special spot or hung on the wall.
