Extra Tip: Helper Badge

an idea from Stefanie Röhrig, Hannover

A small badge with a great effect: "I'm glad to help"

Description:

In Stefanie Röhrig's class, helping one another is a matter of great importance. Every child who has finished his or her tasks and is willing to help a fellow pupil is given a helper badge. Any child needing help can turn to anyone wearing a badge. The idea has been accepted so well that the children pin the badges on of their own accord. They still however, turn readily to their classmates if they need help themselves.

Recommendation:

Print out the signs and have them laminated at the local copy shop to keep them in shape. Use double-sided sticky tape for fixing.
