Level L5
What is the correct procedure to refill a Level?
You find the Level L5 refilling instructions here
Is Level also available as a fountain pen for left-handed persons?
Level is also suited for use by left-handed persons. Special fountain pens for left-handed persons are available only for children starting school. School fountain pens have an ideal grip profile in order to simplify writing with the unknown writing instrument. Fountain pens for left-handed persons simply differ in the fact that their grip profile is the mirror image of fountain pens for right-handed persons. But there is not a special nib. As fountain pens designed for teenagers or adults do not have this special grip profile, they are suited for both, right- and left-handed persons.
Is Level-ink just available in royal blue?
Yes, only in royal blue.
What can be done if the ink flow of Level does not work perfectly?
First, check to see whether there is still enough ink in the reservoir. If there is, check the valve. Both white dots have to be in line with one another or Level will not write. If the Level was recently filled or has not been used for a long time, shake it a little bit.
Is it possible to change the nib from a Level fountain pen?
Yes it is. Nibs can be obtained as spare parts from traders.

| 5) After the reservoir has been filled, the wheel of the valve needs to be put back into its original position (dot above dot). The Level L5 is now ready for use again. | ||
| 6) When the ink runs out reload the writing reservoir from the storage reservoir by locating the triangular mark above the dot so that the ink may flow freely into the reservoir. After the reservoir has been refilled put the wheel of the valve back into its original position - dot above dot. |
