Pelikan's Easter cart "in action".

You are looking for a crafting idea that is easy to make and looks good altogether? Then the Easter cart is exactly right! This Easter bunny will ginger up any Easter table. Its simple construction provides even preschool students with a sense of achievement and therefore makes a great Easter gift, too.

This is what you need:
Pelikan colored pencils, Wonderliners (red, yellow and green), PLAKA paint (light colors), paint brush with long bristles size 10, Pelifix glue stick, Download templates, toilet paper roll, colored cardboard paper (green) and a pair of scissors.

It's as easy as this:

  1. After printing out the download templates on a sheet of white cardboard paper, carefully cut them out.
  2. Half the toilet paper roll and paint it with a light shade of PLAKA paint. After the paint is dry, decorate the edges using red and green Wonderliners. If you like, you can decorate the roll with simple flower patterns, too.
  3. Use the colored pencils to color out the bunny figure (Our images might help you here). Color both sides of the templates and the bunny, spare the gluing areas.
  4. Now, glue the Easter cart together:
    • First you glue the "wheels" onto the painted paper roll. Next, glue the wagon tongue onto the roll, right beneath the top edge.
    • Then you glue the two bunny parts together. Please mind that the wheels of the wagon do not stand out. However, if it should happen anyway, edges standing out can be cut off easily afterwards, too.
    • Glue the two wagon tongues onto the marked areas on the right and left sides of the Easter cart. Make sure that both feet of the Easter bunny touch the ground.
    • Finally, glue the arms of the Easter bunny onto the outsides of the bunny.

Now it is time to decorate the Easter cart. Simply load an Easter egg onto the cart. A happy Easter party is for sure!
