This is an ideal way to have fun with handicraft and owing to the simple handling, it is also suitable for children.

Instructions for assembly

1.Cutting

Carefully cut both the Pelican figures out of the following sheets.
2.Sticking

Fix a pull string approx. 10 cm in length to the marked spot and stick the body parts (not the wings) together.
3.Paint

Fold the wings forming a sharp edge along the dashed line. Then paint the bird with PLAKA or PLAKA Lack.
4.Mounting

Fold the remaining thread in half. Using a sewing needle, punch through from the top of the wing and fix the ends to the marked spots. Approximately 7 cm above the wings, tie a knot in the suspension thread. Finally the bead threaded on to the pull string and fixed with a knot.
5.Take-off

This is the way the pelican flies. Hold the pelican as shown on the sketch. Pull the bead and the bird starts to fly with graceful beats of its wings.
