Ein Feuerwerk für den Fuchs
Pettersson figures - Print it, cut it out, colour it in - finished!

In this edition of Teachers info we report on our visit to the Wilhelm-Busch-Museum in Hanover where Pelikan watched children at work.

The main focus is on the book "Fireworks for the fox" by Sven Nordqvist. Using the self-constructed figures Pettersson, Findus, the ghost, the duck and Gustavsson - various scenes of the book are recreated. You can download the characters here, print them out and then colour them in. Due to their intensive colouring, Pelikan's wax crayons are most suitable for the task ahead.

The following files are available for download:

You will find the assembly instructions on the following page.

How to assemble:

  1. Select one or all of the motifs.
  2. Start the download and save the file(s) on your hard disk.
  3. Print out the motifs on your printer.
  4. Now the motifs can be coloured in using Pelikan wax crayons. Since the figures are to be stuck together later on, it is better to make both sides similar in colouring.
  5. Now cut out the lower area.
  6. Apply thin coats of Pelifix adhesive to the sides that were not coloured in. Stick the chop stick to one of the sides. After a short wait, stick the appropriate figure pieces together.
  7. Now the fun can begin!

The ghost figure is easily cut out - even by young children. After the figures are cut out, the fun can begin.

The figures from "Fireworks for a fox" are proudly presented in the museum. With the help of the chopsticks, the figures can be turned. This increases the fun of playing!
